Well, a bit, because the food eaten, and the way people dress and dance in Hungary are totally atypical of a Western European country. On the other hand, it is seen all over the Balkans and Eastern Europe.

If being a satellite of Austria qualifies them then yes but then again a lot of Balkan peoples helped the Ottoman Turks before and after the Turkish conquest.
