Default Is Poland lghter than Germany ?

I've looked at various surveys, estimates and studies
and Poland seems to have more blonde haired people and blue eyed people then germnay (as a total % of their population)

Poland seems to be 38% Blonde and Germnay seems to be around 33%
the blonde % goes higher in Northern Poland and Germnay, around the Baltic sea, blonde people seem to make up more than 50% of the population

    as for eye colour
72% of poles have light eyes, 54% blue and 18% Green

66% of Germans have light eyes, 52% blue and 14% Green

do you think these are right ?
are polish people lighter than germans ?

I actually think the percentages for Germans should be lower and higher for poles, considering Germnay is only 80% ethnically german and about 92.5% white, while Poland is 98% polish and 99.9% white

I wondered this question myself, as Coon described Poles as very light. Poles are among the lightest Slavs, but I think Germans are still a bit blonder in hair. Eye color is about equal as South Germany drags it down.

    Where are your numbers from?

Modern immigrants I think should be excluded from such stats.

They have less mediterranean admixture on average, so it means they are genetically little more Northern European.

Colors, I think they are similary light. But very different features imo

Northern Germans are lighter than Poles but except of them Poles are slightly lighter but both countries are not absolutely homogeneous.

Those kind of qestions are difficult as there are no scientific realiably data comparing different European countries. Athroplogical statistics for pigmentation are mostly local and use different standards and defititions. A few years back statistics on hair and eye color for most European countries surfaced on the interent, there was no realiably source, so theoretically it could be all made up, but from my observation the data wasn't far off and in the case of quite a few countries (Netherlands, Italy, Portugal, Poland, Scotland, Scandinavia) the nubmers fit almost perfectly with older scientific anthropological findings. However that was mostly the case with eye color, hair data is if (you ask me) less reliable.

Here Germans are quite blonder than Poles:

Self-reported cannot be fully reliable. Due to the fact that interpretations differ strongly and are biased. It had already been known that there is bias for blond hair in Germany, Poland and most of Eastern Europe as well. As a whole, Poland is lighter-haired and lighter-eyed than Germany, but not lighter than Northern Germany. There is a myth that thinks "all Germans are blond", that isn't true. Germans vary.

Poland is slightly more blond, light-eyed than Germany as a whole. Nevertheless, there are regions in Northern Germany ( e.g. Schleswig-Holstein: 46% blond) which are much lighter than most of Poland.

Yes. There are definitely much more Germans of Alpine race than Poles of Gorid race. Also Germany has a lot of MENA immigrants like Turks who are mostly dark-pigmented.
