Shows like this need guest stars like Blade, Simon Belmont, Solomon Kane, Vampire Hunter D, or maybe this guy:

The recent profusion of pale undead freaks needs to be dealt with- with extreme prejudice.

There have been many books, tv-series and movies about vampires the past decade. I have indulged in the following:

    Movies
Bram Stoker's Dracula (1993) - Great. Oldham is incredible.
Interview with the Vampire (1994) - A little slow a times but overall a very good movie.
Blade (1998) - Entertaining action. I never heard of a 'day-walker' before. Great concept.
I Am Legend (2007) - What a piece of shit.
Let the Right One In (2008) - Wow. So different, so awesome.
Twilight (2008) - lol shit. One long commercial for abstinence and teenage whining.

    Television
True Blood (2008-Present) - Oh, my stars! (lol)

Considering the huge vampiric shit pile to choose from, my consumption is small. I think I've seen the best vampire movies the from the last ~20 years.

    Dig elsker jeg!

I enjoyed every minute of Rome as well as Band of Brothers. Truly two of the best series/mini-series ever in terms of production. They were simply astonishing.

This looks relly good for a 'normal' tv-series. I think Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip and Deadwood are the only tv-series I've watched which come close production wise.

I will give you that, I generally only watch HBO TV series. However, some of the stuff in True Blood really was over the top, I'm thinking where Bill Compton twists around the girl's head during the sex scene. my mom is a fan, and it surprised me as hell to watch an episode with her

Pretty sweet ending in the last True Blood episode (season 3, episode 8).
