I was going to post it in the How would you redraw the European borders thread, but it'd have got quickly lost in the middle of those endless boring Balkan wars.

Iceland!!!???
nice color combination though, like Portugal.
nice too, but I desagree in some aspects...
next state in europe -> next 'concierto económico' in spain and next moor-panchito-paki-chinese territory.
once were our mates -> once were... something of their own.
northern potugal -> Galicia, no more no less.
the other opressed nation has no such area, no way and no matter how hard some nationalists try. (el mismísimo perikolez dice lo mismo )
And I like more the 'ribera de duero' wine than rioja wine.
The rest... OK.

The Blue-White-Red combination always looks very nice, eventhough that particular logo reminds me of Os Belenenses.
The real symbol of "fascist" (Salazar) Portugal - or the party - was this. I don't like the regime, but at least they had a much better sense of historical symbolism that today's politicians.

Indeed, Portugal's fascist symbol is just plain wrong. The red cross showed in the map is actually the symbol of a religious order from the XV century and it's associated with the discoveries rather than with fascism.
Here's the fascist Estado Novo's symbol like Vasconcelos mentioned:
