Why women prefer brunette guys?

Usually people are drawn to people who look like them, being swarthy guy like me is hard in Finland (when it comes to dating).

I also have a fair complexion. The fact that women would prefer brunettes did not cross my mind often.

In my country, women prefer dark-haired men. Especially if they have green or blue eyes.

Reason for it is because Dalmatians are seen as best looking guys, and most Dalmatians are tall and dark-haired. People from lighter regions are generally shorter and less-fashion conscious (less Italian influence ), so they are somehow less talked about. It doesn't mean they are worse looking, these are just common (and shallow)sterereotypes.

I don't care about hair color. If someone is hot, he's hot. Simple

That's not true. Black + white couples in Sweden are extremely uncommon and it's not more common for any gender of Swedes.

I think it depends on the woman and on her personality. Everyone has different preferances. I personally like fair-haired men, I can't help it. However it does not automatically mean that brunette men are out. Mostly it depends on how he is like.

I absolutely love dark hair on men, but my view on this doesn't reflect all females preferences... David Beckham has loads of females screaming after him for instance and he often wears his hair blond. Brad Pitt is another popular blond. I think females are attracted to their charm and their features. Johnny Depp and Harry Styles have dark hair and they also draw a lot of female fans and admirers, so does David Gandy and dark haired guys like Russell Brand. I think a persons hair colour is secondary to other things which attracts a person to someone in life.

A significant part of that is because they are famous and wealthy. For men a woman's socioeconomic status doesn't matter as much as it does to women when it comes to attraction. If these guys weren't famous and wealthy they may still get laid somewhat more than the average man but they wouldn't have women screaming after them or loads of female fans and admirers. Good looking men that are not famous and/or wealthy are a dime a dozen.

Many are categorised as being Nordid-Baltid. This type has a shape of the cranium of balanced proportions. They are best looking people in my opinion.

This is how I think: I find more brunette guys handsome on average than blonds (in the end my love has dark hair ), but when blonde guy is really attractive, he owershadows the rest. And when red haired guy is really handsome, he overshadows blonds too!
