Are Slavs part mongoloid?

Quite a few Slavs I've met, Russians etc., have clear mongoloid features. Why is this? Or rather, since the answer's obvious (centuries of interbreeding), what should we regard them as?

This is something I've often wondered about as well. Supposedly, not that much, since the Mongols were using Turkic soldiers when they occupied Russia, and not racial Mongols. But I'd like one of the more knowledagle members to explain it all..

If they are clearly part mongoloid, then we should regard them as just that.

If you'd care to take off them blinkers and look around a bit you can see proper English Mongoloids (the inbred borderline Down's Syndrome types) right here in the UK. Take some vacation time to go visit Hemel Hempstead and have a walkaround the town center for a day or two.
