    Where does your accent fall?
Both West & East influenced being where I am. But mostly East Coast.

Amy Macdonald, comes across as nice which I like.

I just wanted to ask you about him when I saw you already answered my question. I can't stand the way Neil Oliver sounds, he kills the most interesting documentaries for me. The other scottish accents you posted, including your own, sound really good to me it's just Neil Oliver.

Haha, aww, doesn't he look a mischievous urchin

My nan also loved Michael Schumacher, she called him her 'Schumey'. She had a friend who also loved him, and they used to ring each other up after races to talk about him.

I can't wait to be old, you can get away with being such an oddball!

Not everyone from the West Country has a West Country accent though. Some of my maternal and paternal aunts and uncles, a few of my school teachers and my grandparents had a very slight West Country accent.

I was raised in the coastal town of Bournemouth which is more East Dorset than West Dorset. Most people in B'm'th don't have a West Country accent. I also spent part of my childhood growing-up in Kent.

I don't think I have any strong regional accent. I just see it as southern English.

Lily Cole is from Devon in south-west England and she doesn't have a West Country accent either.

These people have strong West Country rhotic farmers accents from Dorset, Devon, Cornwall, Somerset, etc.

They pronounce their R's at the end of words and have rhotic accents, like Irish, American, Caribbean Islanders, and Canadians also do.

Not all Cornish people have West Country accents either.

    A Cornish West Country accent.

Be real. People like Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, & Roger Daltrey to name a few are real Cockneys or close enough. None are "loud" or "shouty".

The real Cockney is far from the loud-mouthed whatnots who've moved into Bow Bells/East end area & erroneously dubbed "cockney" nowadays. There's a reason, after all, why the legitimate Cockney accent, not the modern day "mongrelized" version, is said to be going extinct.
