Unfortunately, This is real World is becoming more atheist like Turkey.
On Turkey less than 50% practising islam(in albania, it is 30%)
This is because of families. They don't practise and don't teach anything to their children, therefore those children become an atheist

It's still more than 50% in Turkey. Turks a bit more religious than Albanians on average. You can say it's because there was communism in Albania but there was similarly Kemalism in Turkey which targeted the religion and beliefs/perceptions of people like in Albania. Also percentage of veiled Turkish women also higher than Albanians

This is because of education you fool. The kids learn in school that religion makes no sense. The advances of technology have outperformed even the most aspiring religious "miracles".

The same applies to Ottomans, who incorporated pagan Turkic symbols into Islam as the strongest empire of its time.
Those turks (Ottomans etc) were Sunni Muslims following the hanafi madhab.

They adopt the crescent because of its significance in Islam...the hilal is used to determine the new lunar month, and it is important for things like Ramadan. They spat on their pagan origins.

Infact, Persians did not spit on their zoroastrian origins...but Turks historically spat on their tengrist origins. Funny you call yourself 'true ancestor' but dont even know your history.

Nope, Islam in Anatolia (and among other Turks) had semi-pagan/shamanistic customs in many areas. Theoretically Hanafi-maturidsm was the offical madhab but it didn't practise in every places. People remained their paganistic customs with Islam. Crescent and star symbol spreaded among Islamic world with Turks. Not otherwise.
