Why do turks refuse to recognize the Armenian genocide?

When you talk to a turk, they will say to a Greek, "Lets move forward! Forget the past, those were my ancestors who did it! Not ME!!", but even the Kurds who acknowledged they killed Armenians by order of the Ottoman Empire and The Young Turk party, they apologized for it..

Among modern Kurds, including major Kurdish parties like the HDP, KDP, and PKK, most of them acknowledge the killings and apologize in the name of their ancestors who committed atrocities toward Armenians and Arameans in the name of the Ottoman Empire.

If turks did the same thing, It would be the easiest thing to drop the weapons and celebrate with a beer.. but turks talk about moving forward but still dont understand their actions..

I am speaking to turks right now, Imagine this, If your mother and father and family was slaughtered because of their religion and ethnic group and then the rest of your family was burglarized and kicked out of their house by someone,
and then that same person looked at you and said "Lets move forward! Forget the past!".. would you? I know for a fact no human would..

So if you really want to move forward and drop the past, Do not refuse a OBVIOUS GENOCIDE!!

I know turks will sit here and say "Armenians killed turks!" the truth of the matter is there is no number you can put on a life, but you can add lives together.. comparing million to a couple thousand is much different.

Put down your flag and accept the truth, it will only set you free.
