I have probably killed a million or more with my Mosquito eater machine and have directly smashed at least a few thousand in my lifetime!

I used to enjoy killing mosquitoes with my electric fly swatter when I lived in Indonesia... but they got banned in that country because abusive parents were whacking their kids with them.
But apparently, you can get them in Canada now.

I believe in "live and let live" and don't kill them unless they try to bite me. Sadly, I am very bad at killing those that try to bite me, but compensate for it by non-harmful avoidance measures - not going out where there are lots of mosquitoes and wearing protective clothing.

I'm going camping soon so I bought a nice bottle of "natural" insect repellent. However, I have a plan-B. It took me awhile to find it, after sifting through dozens of 30%/70% active/inert ingredients brands. I finally found me 99% DEET!! No way flies and mosquitoes are going to disrupt my outdoor tranquility (as they did the last time I went fishing).

why were you in indonesia?
i used to live in a rough area with little drainage so big pools of water formed after it rained and they would breed like crazy in the morning my net over my bed was covered with them and i was awoken always by the pericing buzzing sound of thousands of these devils, i would grab a handful threw the net and easily kill 1000,
i live in a good area and it is not as much of a problem these days
