Pretty cold tonight.

For the past week, I had the feeling the summer was already gone, this sucks.

And now night starts by 9PM instead of 11PM in late june.

We are entering the bad days.

and a full-moon, the night-sky was perfect
to review the girl-child's recollection
of the nearly two-hundred constellations,
other asterisms and planets.

containing close to forty-thousand flash-cards
previously memorised by our son
and, now, the crux
of the girl-child's home-schooling

as we lay under the stars,
the girl-child held the five-by-eight-inch cards
at arms-length, untill, the holes in the cards
matched the points of light in the sky
and recited the details on each card.

as the majority of the cards
had no visible referent in the sky,

she pointed to the appropriate quadrant
through the earth and explicated.
