It will be interesting to see if post-Jobs Apple can maintain its innovation momentum. Their self-contained and centralized model may not be sustainable unless a visionary of Jobs’ caliber constantly breathes a new life into it.
One strategic characteristic of Google’s new Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) is that it shares the code base across phones and tablets. This should further boost already fast expanding market of android apps. With quad cores available probably next January, the war between mobile platforms will be decided in the application space, I think.

Interesting choice of phone you have purchased Loki...my wife bought me a HTC Desire S She looked at all the phones against the iphone and found the HTC was probably the best at the time.
