Κι'όμως αυτό το υπέροχο άγαλμα του Ασκληπιού δεν βρίσκεται στην Κω αλλά στην αρχαία ελληνική πόλη Εμπόριον της Ισπανίας παρακαλώ !

Statue of Asclepious among ruins at the ancient Greek city of Empuries, Spain - Mediterranean Sea (Girona · Costa Brava)

The Heliocentric theory designed at the floor of the ''Tholos'' Building at Epidauros, 365 B.C. Many Centuries before Kopernicus

The circular building of the Tholos at Epidaurus was a complete astronomical monument. What is unusual about it is that it was situated at the healing centre par excellence of the ancient Greek world. One day we may be able to understand the reasons why an astronomical monument had to be in a cure centre, a place dedicated to health. Perhaps, this is the reason why no-one has thus far associated the architectural and sculptural elements, both interior and exterior, on the floor, ceiling and murals in an attempt to compose the astronomical identity of the Monument.
With the exception of the basement of the Labyrinth, the remaining of the monument bears the seal of Asclepios's father, Apollo, master of spiritual light. The Sun is Apollo's reresentative in the physical universe. (Plutarch, "Περί του ΕΙ εν Δελφοίς", 4 and 21).
Today, the only thing that remains from the Tholos is the Labyrinth.
The circular shape of the Monument was not due to mere chance. It permitted the representation of the firmament and represented the two astronomical theories concerning the Sun: the Geocentric theory of the Sun's apparent course and the Heliocentric theory. The apparent course appeared on the exterior of the Monument and was there for all visitors to see. The Heliocentric had been designed inside the Monument protected from the eyes of the many.

Acropolis of Lindos - Ακρόπολις Αρχαίας Λίνδου

Lindos was founded by the Dorians led by the king Tlepolemus of Rhodes, who arrived in about the 10th century BC. It was one of six Dorian cities in the area known as the Dorian Hexapolis. The eastern location of Rhodes made it a natural meeting place between the Greeks and the Phoenicians, and by the 8th century Lindos was a major trading centre. Its importance declined after the foundation of the city of Rhodes in the late 5th century.
In classical times the acropolis of Lindos was dominated by the massive temple of Athena Lindia, which attained its final form in around 300 BC. In Hellenistic and Roman times the temple precinct grew as more buildings were added. On the acropolis of Lindos today parts of the following buildings may still be seen:
The Doric Temple of Athena Lindia, dating from about 300 BC, built on the site of an earlier temple. Inside the temple is the table of offerings and the base of the cult statue of Athena.
The Propylaea of the Sanctuary, also dating from the 4th century BC. A monumental staircase leads to a D-shaped stoa and a wall with five door openings.
The Hellenistic stoa with lateral projecting wings, dating from about 200 BC. The stoa is 87 metres long and consisted of 42 columns.
The well-known relief of a Rhodian trireme (warship) cut into the rock at the foot of the steps leading to the acropolis. On the bow stood a statue of General Hagesander, the work of the sculptor Pythokritos. The relief dates from about 180 BC.
The Hellenistic staircase (2nd century BC) leading to the main archaeological area of the acropolis.
Remains of a Roman temple, possibly dedicated to the Emperor Diocletian and dating from about 300 AD.
The Acropolis is surrounded by a Hellenistic wall contemporary with the Propylaea and the stairway leading to the entrance to the site. A Roman inscription says that the wall and square towers were repaired at the expense of P Aelius Hagetor, the priest of Athena in the 2nd century AD.

    Hephaestus

Hephaestus was a son of Zeus, the King of the Gods, and Hera, the goddess of marriage, although it was considered by some that he was conceived prenuptially.
Siblings: Eilithyia, the goddess of childbirth, Hebe, the goddess of youth and Ares, the Olympian god of War.
Wife: Aphrodite, the goddess of love.
    The Disability of Hephaestus
Hephaestus was a very kind and loveable god, but was the only deity who was physically ugly and lame. When his mother Hera saw him for the first time, she was so frustrated that she took her son and threw him from Mount Olympus to the depths of the seas, causing a deformation to his leg. Hephaestus was finally rescued by two Nereids, Thetis and Eurynome, who raised him for nine years inside a cave, far away and hidden from his cruel mother.
    The Workshop of Hephaestus
Hephaestus had his working lay beneath the crater of the volcano of Aetna in Italy. There, he was working together closely with the one-eyed Cyclopes to create strong thunderbolts for his master Zeus. Hephaestus was also famous for having created the first woman of the ancient world, Pandora.
    Appearance of Hephaestus
Usually, Hephaestus is depicted wearing a short tunic which was typical for craftsmen, and holding a double ax or blacksmith's pincers. Because of his disability Hephaestus leaned on a walking stick.
    Symbols of Hephaestus
The symbols of Hephaestus were the fire, the axe, the pincers and the hammer.

Unique for its wealth of color compositions are amazing frescoes men seated figures depicting the philosophers 'tomb Philosophers' recently discovered in the eastern cemetery of ancient Pella and dates from the late 4th century BC

Another proof that the ancient Macedonians were mediterranean, and not nordic or celt kingdom as some people on this forum claim.
