It's not random, it's just the origin of some curent star as Kardashian for armenia. For Barbados, there is a famous singer, i don't remember which one from this island.

American knowledge is based on what people watch on tv....so Armenian women=Kim Kardashan, Barbadian women=Rihanna...etc.
