yes, but in the urban areas they tend to speak with a Russified-to-very-Russified accent compared to non-russified accent Ukrainian, that we speak in Romania. and it's not Romanian influence, we have zero Romanian influence in the phonetics, in which local Rusyn dialect has similar sound, even pitch accent, to northeastern Poland and southern Lithuania (partly westernmost Belarus, though it's hard to find peasant videos on the internet and they were Russified in accent like Ukrainians and Eastern Moldovans).

and I'm saying it being pan-Russian at the same time, I mean I consider Russians, Belarusians and Ukranians to be Russkies the same, and to belong together, but Russians should allow local culture and speech, or at least I'd like it, I am for diversity of speech. a standard should only follow official documents, for the rest people should speak without shame just as they speak in their region.

Hutsul dialect also has the most archaic and well-kept Slavic among all Ukrainian dialects, thing I've heard from a Ukrainian philologist I follow. probably that is the connection to southern Lithuania (different language but totally the same phonetics and intonation, I was shocked when I first heard southern Lithuanian peasants speak).
