Default FTDNA offering free autosomal transfer from 23andme and AncestryDNA

FTDNA, for a limited time, is offering free transfer of 23andme and AncestryDNA raw data. It should be interesting to see a different perspective on our DNA results.

Bear in mind, however, that it will cost you about $40.00 to purchase your results. It's a lot better than $102.00, though.

Can I view them once without purchasing it or referring people? I want to just view them.

They only accept V3 chip datas from 23andme (before October 2013). I don't see the point anyway, even if it's possible to download the raw ftdna datas, you just pay for an average AC's calculator. It's like testing the same person from 3 different companies, same raw data mostly. 23 is usually even a tad better on genotype rate.

For people of mixed ancestry like myself, AncestryDNA and FTDNA show very different results. So no, not pointless at all.

Your interpretation of their AC, is different. Your datas and results on real calculators, are exactly the same at noise level accuracy.
