Turks score 10% East Eurasian admixture on average and usually come up as 1/2 - 1/4 Central Asian (Turkmen or Uzbek) in gedmatch oracle results while Bulgarians barely score 1% East Eurasian. I doubt that their Turkic admixture in total exceeds 5%, even if we use modern Volga Tatars or Chuvashes (who are 20-30% East Eurasian) as a proxy for original Oghur-Turkic Bulgars.
