    I didn't read this one until my early teens though, so, obviously, it didn't leave as big an impression as Lindgren's or Preußler's works did

    The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, though I barely remember it now. There are many I gew up with especially stories by La Fontaine but I always considered that book to be my favorite. I also used to read Donald Duck comics a lot during my childhood.

    Woow I liked Donald Duck magazines too. I never missed them. And Antoine was a Turkish-Ataturk hater lol.
