1)Mine are still in good shape.If the leather is good there's no problem.Plus considering that you are going to spend thousands of euros,the leather is obviously going to be of great quality.

Well everything is relative to what you're searching for.If your husband is a swimmer and he wants to dive with it then buy one with a rubber strap.
