1.87 and 1.89 are NO WAY the average anywhere in the USA. And yes, I had to convert feet and inches. I'm 1.87 and everywhere I was in the USA I was clearly taller than 95% of the people I saw. If the average really was 1.89 I would have felt kinda short.

Real average is like 10-12 cm below it.
