    Default Ask argentinians about Argentina

As most of you know almost all users, accounts, posts and threads created about a year ago fell down in darkness including one thread where Apricity's members could ask argentinians about us, our country, culture, thoughts and whatever you want.

So this one is the revival of that forgotten thread.

Very good idea about reviving this thread

Lots of things on this forum have to be re-done starting from nothing. Like a new beginning.

Definitively, the last crash has marked a before and an after, on the history of this forum.

Broadly speaking the biggest difference is the social and political organization (division according to social-economic classes, education and health policies) so too behaviour and ways of relating. The 'average argentinian' is a lot more like uruguayans than chileans.

This answer is obviously vague and ambiguious but I don't know enough of chileans to make a better one.
Anyway I've never been in Chile nor met a chilean so I cannot give an accurate answer of individual contrasts, maybe some other argentinian in Apricity can.

In the second place the tune/accent of speaking... I find the "chilean talking" annoying and cacophonic.

Yes for sure. In the last "Ask argentinans" thread there was a lot of interesting and relevant information furthermore the funny and informal questions/answers... it's a pity. And that was only one of a large list of lost threads.

One of the questions that I made on that thread is how Venezuelan immigrants in Argentina are perceived by Argentinians, and how well they integrate into the Argentinean population. CMV88 and Jackes de Imbeloni already answered that question, but I also want to know other Argentinians opinions, including yours. CMV88 and Jackes are welcome to respond the question again (if they don't mind) just to reconstruct part of what it was lost.

Well, I don't have any personal experiencie with any venezuelan and I've never heard of some incident where venezuelan immigrants/tourist were involved so I don't even have a stereotype in mind for venezuelans, haha.

In accordance to the last census the venezuelan population in Argentina approaches to 12,000 wich is a small number compared to paraguayans, bolivians, chileans and peruvians, in fact there are more colombians than venezuelans in the country.

Talking about integration I think that depends more on the social class of the immigrant than his birthplace. For example paraguayans, bolivians and peruvians in Argentina most of times are from lower class and illegal immigrants and they're usually involved in cases of delinquency, vandalism and drug traffic... this causes distrust and rejection. But in the other hand, another part of latinoamericans in Argentina are younger people that belong to the upper class who came to the national universities, bussiness or to stepped out from the political issues in their countryland.
