The Talmud tells us that the only language the Torah could be translated into elegantly is Greek.

This is a folksong from the Blacksea region of Turkey, (Trabzon). It's about two lovers who would like to marry each other, but the man has to leave his village in Trabzon and needs to go to Istanbul for work and to support his family financially after his father died. The two lovers kept writing letters to each other. Their love for each other never died, even if they would never see each other again, because.. The parents of the girl had another man in mind for their lovely daughter. In the lyrics you'll hear about what the two lovers wrote each other. In the end, they never married and each of them followed their own path..
