I don't know. The Lezgins could be descendants of some Caucasus Albanians, but as far as I know it's the Udis that are their descendants. The rest fused into other populations. The Caucasus ALbanians did not call their country ''Albania'', I think it was the Romans that named it as such. Neither did they call it ''Arran'' or whatever, it was actually the Persian word for Albania. Nobody knows what they called themselves.

Yes that was Lezgic. Albania is the Greek word for that country. Just coincidence is fact that English word for the modern Balkan state Shqip is similar.

Albanians converted to Christianity officially at same times as Georgia and Armenia. Oldest Christian nations in the world.
    They were existing normally.

After the 5th century Christian schism between Monophysites (people believing Jesus had single nature which was divine) and Dyophysites (people believing Jesus had two nature, one Godly and one human), Georgians and Albanians were Orthodox so Dyophysites while Armenians were Monophysites.
Later among Albanians was spread Monophysitic ideology (modern churches of Armenia, Egypt and Ethiopia).

That fragmented their nation and with time, they were assimilated into Armenians mostly, and Orthodox Albanians were Georganized.

So, when the Turks showed up in Albania (Azerbaijan) during the 11th century, the Albanians were already mostly out as a dominant ethnicity.

Armenians eliminated them starting from a religious assimilation step

Udi people (10k in total spread across Azerbaijan, Georgia and Armenia) are all that is left from Albanians.

Biggest concentration (5k) in a place called Nij in northern Azerbaijan. They are Oriental Christians like their ancestors have been for 1700 years.

Kingdom of Albania during 4th century when it was Christian.

Iberia is Greek name for Georgia. Armenia was always for Armenia.
Mazkut was Dagestan. South of Mazkut there were clients of the Sassanians. Sarmatians were Iranic steppe people and ancestors of modern Ossetians.

As you can see from map, Georgians seem to have expanded eastwards and Armenians too in the old Albania.
That's a bit how the Albanians went to extinction point.
