Serbs adopted language from Croats late as 1818 when it was first written by Vuk Karadžić, Croats have much earlier writing. Serbs cant even compare, Bosnjaks can but they also admit Croats had it first.
It was developed out of a early medieval old Slavic and old church Slavic language

I know that he is Albanian, but he is born and lives in Croatia so that is why he writes about things related to Croatia. Plus, of course he claimed the same thing as Seselj does, that Croats are Serbs, that croatian language is serbian blah, blah.
