    Default Cars!

Yes, cars! We all love them, and I didn't see a thread about this yet, so I thougth "what the heck" and decided to start one.

What do you currently drive (or your parents, if you can't drive yet) and which do you love/hate the most?

For over 14 years that my family only drives German cars, they never let us down, eventhough they are arguably not the most comfortable. Both my parents drive 3 series Beemers, pops had a VW Passat and an Audi before his BMWs. I personally drive a 1.4 VW Polo from 1996 with just 55000km...nearly new, eh? It looks like a fridge tho..it's white

Not mine, but similar enough. Don't have the 16v version tho, just plain old 1.4 12v

Oh, voor ik vergeet, cars in Portugal are ridiculously expensive. My father's car costed ~44000€, but in the other side of the border, in Spain, the same car costs about 37000€. Fuck.

Currently i own a Ford Mondeo 1.8 GL Hatchback. MK3
In the rear seats is a dog hammock for when i take the furry children out for a treat in it.
Yeah i know, not very fashionable to have a dog hammock in the back seat, but it does save the seats from dirt and suchlike...

This car has the loudest factory built music system in the known universe.
The garage owner wanted Ł4,000 for it, i beat him down to Ł3,750.
It had only 30,000 miles on it and came with a stamped service history book confirming mileage.
Have you noticed that if you rearrange the letters in ‘illegal immigrants’, and add just a few more letters, it spells, ‘Go home you free-loading, benefit-grabbing, resource-sucking, baby-making, non-English-speaking ********* and take those other hairy-faced, sandal-wearing, bomb-making, camel-riding, goat-f*****g raghead c***s with you.?

I have a red Civic S like the one in the picture. It´s full equiped with everything that I could and the inside looks like a spaceship when I drive at night
I´ll have time to drive a boring familiar car when I was older with kids and a mortgage, now let me enjoy

I want one of these nifty cars for my first car ever. I want to be able to fit into any parking space.

I'd love this but it's wishful thinking.

I found one of these online used for $6000. I'd have to go a ways to get it though and it will probably be sold soon.

I want one of these so if I crash I won't die, but miles per gallon sucks.

I love these, they are like little hearse-limousines. I got behind the wheel of a regular mini, it didn't feel roomy or safe enough.

I'm a Fiat fan too, they've had a tough time of it over the last few years but now they seem to be back on track. I drive one of these, it's a turbo diesel and it's pretty fast.

I also have one of these

I've had lots of cars and trucks over the years but the one I really want is a UNIMOG!

I also think that a UNIMOG RV would be too cool for school!

I'm debating over whether I should get a Chrysler Sebring convertible or a Lincoln Continental. I want the chickmagnet qualities of the Sebring and I want a smallish car for parking convenience, but Lincoln Continentals are well-built, safer, and won't be as likely to hurt me in a hypothetical future accident.

    VS.

The toyota Yaris has been brought to my attention as very compact and very good gas mileage.

Indeed Ken, i think even the acquisition of Chrysler has been pretty much a boost in the marketing strategy of the factory and the restyling of many cars such as Punto and 500 gave some good results.
Nice to see you drive a Punto turbo diesel, a friend of mine got too and he's a crazy driver, i don't even know how many points italian police took away from his license.
