They do rodeo, which is something similar to bullfighting and of course, of Spanish origin

No risk at bullfighting going away. Lately the minister of culture, who recently decided to come out as lesbian as if the rest of the population cared and had to know about her life, decided to raise taxes for bullfighting:

That created some discussion but nothing more than that. Going ahead with a full ban on it would not make the people in the region i circled in the OP very happy.

I found this map of bullfighting in Portugal which i'm happy to see it corresponds nicely to my attempt in the first post:

Also an important bullfighter died this week:

His funeral drove thousands of people to the streets on his hometown:

What the colors of that map are suposed to mean ? Green higher "afición" ? Lisbon in yellow makes no sense, Campo Pequeno is the most important Praça in Portugal. Cascais not even mentioned ?! In Algarve is wrong, the bullfight arenas are in Albufeira and Vila Real, while only the Lagoa municipality is painted for whatever reason. As usual these maps are bullshit or flawed.

RIP Joaquim Bastinhas...one of the all time greats, unforgetable triumphs with his magnificent horse Xeque Mate !
