    Default Wilderness Pictures

    Hello,
Anyone else really into the outdoors? Post up photographs you've taken on camping trips, hikes, etc!

These are just a few various pictures I've taken, this is the area around where I live.

To get here you drive to the end of the road, then you walk to the end of the path, then you head up the glen for an hour. It's lovely we saw no-one else

A little closer to home last winter.

The first two are from Dubh Ghleann near the Linn of Dee in Scotland the snowy one is near Drum Oak also near the Dee.

Here's a few more random pictures. You'll have to forgive me, I spend a lot of my spare time in the wilderness.
    View of my town:

    Sitgreaves National Forest:

A bear cub I was lucky enough to catch a glimpse of. I spent the next few minutes backing away from the area looking for mama

Looks cold, Veritas. I like the one of the Canadian flag.

None of these are quite as wild as my last posts of old scotts pine forests.

The New forest on a sunny July day

An interesting stink horn near Drum Oak it's not in any book I can find.
(this shot took 20 mins damn flies)

The new forest on a frosty January afternoon, near Islands thorns

Twyford water meadows this January not very wilderness but very cold!
