Yeah but I think it has more to do with the Jewish crossbreeds during their migration to Europe and both (Italians and Jews) being located in its origins in the Mediterranean area (South Italy, Sardinia and Greece in Europe & Turkey and Levant countries including Jews in Middle East) than a shared-ancestry between Southern Italians and (Ashkenazi) Jews.

However what I meant before it's that if an (Ashkenazi) Jew scored 90% European and beyond wouldn't be Jew anymore since Ashkenazi Jew is Jew+Euro. Or am I wrong?
That's why I said that I found ambigous include Ashkenazi as fully European... but maybe there's something I am not understanding, I don't know.

That's something I don't understand, in 23andme Ashkienazi is include under "European" but they are mixed population, European with Levantine.

I divided people in 3 groups White (85-100% Caucasian) Castizo (70-85% Caucasian) and Mestizo (0-70% Caucasian)

After that i made another sub group called European Argentine that is people in the 95-100% Caucasian range. This are people that are scoring close to 0% Non white.





Just in case you are wondering, the reason i used 85-100% caucasin as "white" is because i have seen that Cuban and Brazilian tests have Whites around 85% euro on average (with a range of 70-100% euro) so i thought using that range for white argentines was reasonable.
