She looks like the average Mestizo Colombian, no? From what I've seen 14% SSA hardly makes someone to look very black influenced. There's an Indo-Mestiza who looks Castiza here and she's around 10% SSA. SSA influence on phenotype is exaggerated around here. It's usually not very visible below 20%.

In her child photo, without light effect and make-up, resembles much darker.

Probabaly for that reason she has 14% SSA and not that high amerindian (except for the place which you mention).
And I know that in Cesar there are many people who look totally criollo.
Carlos Vives for example, from Santa Marta looks totally criollo indeed... but I know, the coast is extremely diverse!!
You know, "Pibe" Valderrama is from the same city and looks almost tri-racial, and both groups are quite frequent I imagine.
    It's very diverse indeed.
I feel glad because you talk to me about all this stuff, because I am very interested in Colombia.
In my opinion it's a beautiful and fantastic country, unhappily unfairly underrated probably for some issues, but it's a paradise, just only for the reason that it's the second more bio-diverse country in the world (after Brazil) if I am not wrong, and it has all the weathers, all the biomes, extremely diverse people, a lot of different costumes depending of the area... etc...
Unhappily I ve never gone there.... it's a pending account which I have, to go to Colombia, to Mexico, to Guatemala and to know better Peru (I went only one time and just to Lima, not to other places).
I went one time to San Andrés, which is part of Colombia, but the environment is totally different, because it's a classic caribbean place, extremely beautiful, of course, but the culture (which I loved so much too) is very sui generis, raizales have a lot of elements influenced of people from Jamaica, Barbados, Grand Caiman and other parts of the Caribbean.
I hope to go there one time... God willing!
The Vives family is a wealthy family in Santa Marta, they are of Catalan origin. Catalan seafarers had control over the city's trade. So he is clearly a white Samario and so is his Paisa wife.

^^ This is not his wife, by the way. It's a picture of him playing as Rafael Escalona. The woman in the picture is Florina Lemaitre, an actress from Cartagena.

El Pibe Valderrama was raised in Pescaíto, this is a low income neighbourhood. It is renowned for producing world-class football players. Back in the day, this is where fishers used to live hence the name Pescaíto.

El Pibe is blonde but clearly has some African admixture. He'd probably be mostly European, though. What do you think?

Yeah, the Caribbean Coast is extremely diverse. More so than Andean Colombia. Either way it's above 50% European on average in composition. Depending on the city or sub-region, composition could take a shift. Barranquilla, Santa Marta, southern Cesar (towns like Rio de Oro, Gonzalez, San Alberto), Montería, southern Guajira are areas with large mestizo/white populations. The most 'ethnic' cities are definitely Cartagena and Riohacha. However, you should take into consideration Cartagena is a touristic city and has a international flair to it, it's got its share of foreign population, as do Barranquilla and Santa Marta. Barranquilla was the gateway to a lot of immigrants from Europe and the Middle East. Magdalena, too, including Santa Marta as a result of the bonanza bananera.

And yeah, San Andres is gorgeous. Culture and architecture there is very Anglo-Caribbean. Providence is even more Anglo-Caribbean. Many continental Colombians have flocked there recently, though.

Next time you should visit Bogotá, Medellín, Barranquilla, Eje Cafetero, Santa Marta, Santander, Boyacá, Cartagena. That would give you a wider insight into the country's population.
