It is not important if I doubt or not. If someone gives a bribe, and no one knows about it, how can this be involved in any stats? This map is based on guessing, not on facts.

In other words some, let's say American (as usual) went to North Korea to ask its citizens about the corruption, and they openly admitted that their country is very corrupted. Same story with, for instance, Yemen and other countries not famous for being hospitable.

And what if people who were asked responded "yes there is corruption" just because all of them have seen recently news in TV, about corruption somewhere, for instance? Same case of corruption, but large number of people who answered basing on this.

It's based on perceptions. The realities can quite to different to perceptions some people have. In my country offering a bribe and getting involved in organised country is difficult although possible. There's public condemnation, hefty fines and lengthy jail terms. The first warning people of neighbouring countries get visiting Belarus from a neighbouring country - do not try to bribe cops for breaking road rules or you will get into bigger troubles.
