its a epidemic here. It has alot to do with the food portions and trans fats. But a Big part of it has to do with Americans not exercising. Eating out I don't Think is too much of a problem. I think its really that many Americans are not exercising

Going to the gymn twice a week will not make much difference; a person has to be moving around quite a lot on most days.

3-4 times a week is enough. of course twice a week wont be enough. you need minimally 3-4 working on a different body part each day. Could even do it everyday if you can.

i dont even know what white americans eat at home, i always picture them eating fried food, hamburgers, hot dogs, tons of sodas in their fridge, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches

As America got less white, it got more obese, researchers have observed that the average size of a dinner plate in the 1950s was 9 inches across.
