Still married today. Married in started dating in 1974, married in 1980 and I was born in 1986. Can't see what so weird. 6 years is a normal age difference and a 16 yo is a young woman, especially back in the '70s when having a bachelor's degree was far less required on the job market.
But even without those factors I fail to see what's weird. Age difference of 6. Meh. You've gotta be really judgemental.
