Do you think it's suitable for children to be forced
to have their eyelashes curled,
made to wear mascara and eyeliner around their eyes
(which contains chemicals)
made to wear heavy fake eyelashes and spray-tans,
forced to have their eyebrows waxed,
make-up plastered onto their sensitive skin,
their delicate hair put through heated rollers,
and then be forced to parade around
for TV cameras and audiences
in US Child Beauty Pageant contests
with their parents hoping they will win them big prize money,
such as in the US television series 'Toddlers and Tiaras'?
The stress placed onto these children
is shown in the videos below.
Why don't the parents dress them
in age-appropriate clothing?
Why don't they let children be children
and have a childhood,
instead of forcing them to act like adults
and robbing them of their childhood
and making them look older than their years
by putting lipstick and make-up on them, etc,
and expecting them to parade around
and compete and be judged at that age?
This child is seriously stressed-out and distressed with the pressure put on her.

by forcing them to dress in inappropriate clothes for their ages,
such as a parent dressing her toddler in fishnet stockings
and another parent forcing her child to dress as a prostitute.
