Self-discipline is a choice. If you don't have self-discipline when studying, you will fail at your degree. If you don't want to fail, you push yourself into studying more. You can't say, "Oh! But I don't have self-discipline!" That is not going to get you a degree. You've been late to work for two weeks in a row. "Oh! But I don't have self-discipline!" That is not a valid excuse. If anything, it will get you fired because your boss now knows what your attitude is.

What you are saying is that you couldn't care less and are not even willing to try. By saying "I don't have self-discipline" means you're not prepared to take responsibility for your actions. That applies to studying, jerking off, going to work and anything else which requires a bit of commitment. If you don't have self-discipline then it is time you develop some.
