Another difference is that São Paulo state has more European immigrants from other places mainly like Italy that might be more akin to Uruguay but being a receptor of immigrants from other regions of Brazil has given it a more diverse gene pool similar to that of Cuba other then like again Southeast Brazil is highly urbanized and industrial while Cuba is pretty rundown due to the isolation. If we only compare the colonial and general average for most Brazilians in the southeast it amounts at least to 60-80% Euro, 30-20% Afro and 10-20% Native American similar time Cuba, another close similarity would be Puerto Rico but PR doesn’t have as many pure Whites as Cuba which the southeast has in plenty.
Yeah, Cuba is in the fourth place when it comes to Latin America's Euro imput, only behind Uruguay, Argentina and Brazil.
The main diference is that Brazil, compared to Cuba, has a bigger proportion of whites, a more diverse Euro imput, and less proportion of exotic caucasoid faces (many Canarians settled/immigrated to Cuba, which was not the case in Brazil).

Cuba is the only place that comes close to Southeast Brazil since they’re euro input is pretty similar, Italians and Portuguese are Southern Europeans like Spaniards/Canarians so there’s not a huge difference there other then with the minority German component the region of Brazil has that gives it own unique flair for the most part. But other then that Colonial European, Native American and African is similar to Cuba in proportion conseridng the natives of Cuba came from the jungles of Brazil/Venezuela. It’s the only place where African and European mixed face are common with the Euro input still being high close to Argentine/Uruguay levels like Southeast Brazil.

The diference is that Canary Islanders have a diferent genetical makeup from mainland Spaniards, an average of 22% Northern African DNA, and that will reflect on the looks and genetics of Cubans, who are heavily Canarian in their Spanish stock.
But yes, Brazil and Cuba have very similar genetical components: Iberian >>>>> SSA >>>>> Amerindian.

I’ve seen some Italians on 23andme and for some reason they always get a decent Middle Eastern ancestry on them like 10-22%, not all but a lot of them do.

That’s where Brazil gets its main cultural heritage/influences from but those countries aren’t mixed in genetics like Brazil since Brazil is a new world nation unlike its neighbors who have a similar cocktail to it

É clichê falar isso, mas o Brasil é muito grande para comparar apenas com um país.

Então eu diria: São Paulo, Paraná, Santa Catariana e Rio Grande do Sul - Uruguai e Argentina, o Uruguai sempre foi o quarto estado do sul do Brasil kk

Okay North Region I’d say Colombia and Venezuela

Northeast would be Colombia, Venezuela and Puerto Rico overall aswell

Central West and Southeast would be Cuba and Puerto Rico

South region would be Argentina and Uruguay
