I'm a very typical looking Czech. Once a Ukrainian thought I was Bulgarian and I didn't understand why, maybe she was confused as to the language I was speaking, but I was also next to my very dark father that day. Once a dumbass thought I was Turkish but she also guessed Croatian once, she was just really stupid and an older American who kept forgetting what country I said I was from and had no idea about the world in general, so I won't count it. I've gotten Swedish a few times, which I don't understand, because the blonde hair doesn't outweigh the Slavic Central/Eastern European face one bit. That one was from Americans, again, who usually don't know anything about geography (sorry, I like Americans, but you apparently don't learn geography in high school).

I think ''whitest'' is a dumb term to use here. ''Lightest'' is better even though it's still subjective (could mean hair colour, eye colour, skin pigmentation or all of these). In fact people's opinions and guesses, especially in reality, are mostly based on facial features, not pigmentation.
Anyway, in reality I have been mistaken (by people initially not knowing my ancestry) for:

- Dutch
