    Default Is it something good to lose 5 kg in a week?

    I started taking a medicine called Sertraline. It made me completely lose the will of eating even when I'm hungry. I can't have more than one meal for a day. The result of that is that I lost 5 kg in one week. Should I consider it something good or bad?

    I think it's detrimental to your health. It's best to eat three meals a day but exercise to tone down.

    I can't. It's not an effort I'm doing in order to lose weight; it's just the other way around: I'm doing an effort to eat, because I absolutely don't feel like it not even a bit. The only thing I ate today was 3 esfihas, and I was almost dying after I finished eating the second one because I was feeling my stomach completely full (although it wasn't at all).

    your metablism is going to slow down more and you will yoyo effect if you eat more and try to keep the weight down. Its better if you just exercise more doing light weights. the more you eat and workout, the faster your metabolism gets. If you just eat and not work out then your energy will just turn to fat.

    talk to your doctor about it. Maybe he can give you an alternative.

    A fair portion of that will be water. Many reasons but expect the change in diet, less salt intake etc. to heavily impact how much water your body retains. Possibly 2 kgs could possibly be fat. Please keep yourself hydrated.

    To me as long as it works it's ok. Unless you will actually die from it lol...Anyways once you lose all the weight you can start eating the normal 3 meals a day again.

    My current diet is 2 meals a day with lower carbs than usual, and doing long sweaty walks in the sun along with some light weights; and so far I've lost around 15 lbs by doing so. My current weight is now @ 147 lbs.

    Unless you're exercising a lot, the only way to actually lose weight is to experience hunger. Only eat when you're hungry and stop eating before you get full.
    Do that for a few months and you'll be shocked.
