Swedish Meatballs vs Italian Meatballs

Italian meatballs are OK since I've eaten tons of em whereas I've not eaten a lot of Swedish meatballs so they're still new and "exotic" to me. How about you?

1 Cup Bread Crumbs
2 Medium Eggs
Salt And Pepper -- To Taste
3 Medium Potatoes -- Grated
5 Medium Carrot -- Chopped
1/4 Cup Chives -- Snipped
1/4 Cup Parsley -- Chopped
10 Cups Beef Broth

Directions: Mix together beef, bread crumbs and eggs. Season with salt and pepper. Add potatoes to broth and simmer for 10 minutes. Add carrots and simmer for 10 more minutes. Make small meatballs with the beef and add to the broth. Add chives and simmer for 30 minutes. Serve sprinkled with parsley."

I am Italian... and I have never heard of Italian meatballs.. Like macaroni LoL macaroni is not known in Italy .. and is in fact an italianized germanic/anglo-saxon dish

Are you really so dumb as you do?? It are words who came to our language as import words but the dish is a traditional Baltic dish. In Germany it has the name Frikadellensuppe!
