People in Guangzhou talk about Russia.
What do you know about Russia? What can you tell about russian identity? What russian people eat? What do you think about Putin? Do you want to have a husband or wife from Russia? What can you tell about Russian-Chinese relations? What can you tell to russian people?

Russian words that chinese people are ashamed of.
The word 'tipa' that means like.
But chinese people understand it differently, they are ashamed of it.

The word 'poka, poka' that means good bye, but chinese people are laughing when they hear it.
It is a japanese word, but all in China understand it, it have reference to the fools.

I can say that in Russia everyone understand differently all words that pronounced as hui.
It seems that in mandarin it has thousand meanings, as well in russian it has too.

Why this people in Guangzhou speak mandarin, but not cantonese? Maybe they are residents from northern provinces.
I wonder, can they speak both languages simultaneously? I thought it should be complicated.

I have some guesses about it.
I guess that every person in China is bilingual, knowing at least two dialects. It is one particular dialect of their province and the beijing dialect which is canonical. Every province has its own dialect with unique pronunciation and vocabulary. Most widespread dialects are Mandarin (Beijing dialect), Wu (Shanghainese), Min (Hokkien), and Yue (Cantonese). For instance, in eastern China each city may have unique dialect. Every person should know one dialect that he studied in his particular city during childhood and the beijing dialect that he studied in school.

So I guess only natives of Guangzhou who live in that city from the beginning should know both cantonese and mandarin as they study it during their youth.
But residents from northern provinces know only mandarin as they never studied cantonese before. This is why Shenzhen is mandarin speaking city because it inhabited by migrants from the north.

    Are my clues correct?

For a period of time of 15 years, both countries had a strong friendship. During the Cultural Revolution, the only foreign form of culture allowed in China was Albanian. Albanian movie, songs, etc were prefered from the youth in China. Today there is a generation in China who are nostalgic about that period of time. There are many curious stories.
Also, Albania proposed during 50th in UN, that Republic of China to be member because first was Taiwan.

I remember my father telling me when I was a kid that Albania was a friend of China back in the old days.

I'am curious to know the opinion of chineese people on Russia.

The two governments are good friends. But I feel that the friendships is limited to the headstates.
For exemple, I find the number of 20 000 chineses students in Russia, while in the same time they are 92 000 in United Kingdom.

It is because chinese people prefer to study english language way more than russian language and they want to live in rich anglosphere countries, but not in poor, xenophobic Russia. I understand them.
