I like to think of the sun as my "watch". Seriously, I do own a Citizen Nighthawk but rarely wear it unless I'm traveling.

I got one of these for Christmas to hold me over until I can get a true pilot's watch. This Seiko SNK809 automatic field watch is loosely based on the Laco WWII Luftwaffe Flieger-Uhr. It originally came with a black canvas strap that was made out of seat-belt material, but I replaced it with a stitched tan calf-leather strap to make it more like a true pilot's watch.

Like this, but my strap has brown stitching.



I also got a Seiko SGF206 gold tone watch, but it hasn't arrived in the mail yet:

I rarely wear watch, and mostly as an accessory. I won't buy this, but I find it easthitically nice.
