Today, I received my Mil-Tec WWII Luftwaffe Pilot's Watch (Flieger B-Uhr) in the mail along with a pilot's watch band with rivets and white stitching. This is my 2nd and 1/2 Luftwaffe Flieger-Uhr style watch (the .5 is a Seiko SNK809 field watch which is only loosely based on the Flieger).
The band it came with is solid and well constructed, but I decided to try and replace it because it is not historically authentic. In my vain attempt to replace the watch band, the buckle fell off. I am getting up early tomorrow to have it done by a professional. I may also have the second hand replaced if possible, as it is black and very hard to see. The face is sterile just like an authentic Flieger, but this imitation is quite cheap despite its decent quality.
This is the watch face/case by itself. The case steel is rather low quality but functional.
This is the face with the new blucher pilot's band on the left, with the old black band on the right.

I visited a jewelry store to have the pilot's band attached. Now it looks more authentic. Wrist check:

Below are pictures of my Flieger collection. Unfortunately, the little Seiko SNK809 field watch's movement stopped spinning, so I'm going to either have to take it to a watch shop (which might be more expense than it's worth), or mail it off to a Seiko service center in New Jersey (I have the warranty card in my wallet). I just installed a new pilot's band on it too. I just replaced the band on the large 55mm flieger with a custom tan pilot's band. The original band was low quality, and despite having rivets, it was not genuine leather as tearing on the band revealed a cheap rubber-like material. BAH!
My Flieger collection: (Left to Right: Seiko SNK809 "Mini-Flieger" field watch with custom 18mm black pilot's band, Mil-Tec by Sturm imitation WWII Luftwaffe-style "B-Uhr" watch with anachronistic quartz movement on a custom 20mm blucher pilot's band, and Parnis 55mm WWII Luftwaffe-style "A-Uhr" pilot's watch on a custom 24mm tan pilot's band.

I own a Seiko Alpinist and a Seiko SARB 033, they are available only in Japan and are now collector since discontinued.
Automatic, Saphire glass, 50 hours power reserve, keep accuracy...very good quality and gorgeous watches.
