I used to drink 5 - 10 units of alcohol a week and binge drink at least one out of two weekend days. After straining my kidneys with a pint of whisky a day for two months because I was stressed out writing a 100 page Masters thesis with no help from my adviser, I can no longer tolerate that much alcohol. Even 2-3 cocktails/glasses of wine can give me a hangover the next day. I live in Colorado and can legally procure cannabis with the same facility as going to a grocery store, so now I ingest (brownies + vaporizing) cannabis ~ 4x a week, and drink ~ 1-2 units of alcohol a week. I usually only have 1 Bloody Mary with brunch on Sundays.

I don't drink much at all. But would like to try out a couple of drinks for sure.

Only on social occasions, generally in the weekends, and I don't go out every week.
2-4 beers, or a couple of glasses of vodka with coke, or a couple of glasses of rock island ice tea.
I never mix.

Drank pretty heavily for about 8 months. Maybe a bottle of vodka a week, if not more.
Now I don't do any of that shit and feel better for it.
