Hair whorls, also known as crowns, swirls, trichoglyphs, or cowlicks, can be either clockwise or counterclockwise in direction of growth."

My "crown" is slightly to the right.
Not only does mine go both anti-clockwise & clockwise. It's more than slightly to the right.

The most frustrating bit of hair to flatten... Like a curse arghhh.

Do you have one on each side, or two to one side?

The only way to flatten it would be to flatten it down in the direction it grows in, leaving you with two alien crop circles and a ridge where they intersect, like on a guinea-pig with rosettes, which there is no possible hope of flattening.

    Am I right?

Solution: shaggy messy crop / grow your hair long.

    I don't have one.

Or it's buried under all this hair I have.
Being from Yorkshire is as much a state of mind as a geographical fact.

The hairdresser said, either grow it out or keep it very short. Kind of what you said.

It can be the worst bed hair.
