My "crown" is slightly to the right.

Not only does mine go both anti-clockwise & clockwise. It's more than slightly to the right.

Do you have one on each side, or two to one side?


The only way to flatten it would be to flatten it down in the direction it grows in, leaving you with two alien crop circles and a ridge where they intersect, like on a guinea-pig with rosettes, which there is no possible hope of flattening.
