Any deaf or hard of hearing members?

Are any of you deaf or hard of hearing? I'm hard of hearing. Not severely, but I'm at hearing aid level for one of my ears. I wasn't born that way though. It kinda developed after around 2005. Do any of you know sign language? I know a bit, I took some classes before, but I'm not exactly fluent. I'd like to be more fluent though.

I still listen to loud music lol. But whenever I go to the hearing doctor for check ups they always say my right ear is 100% perfect and my left one isn't any worse.

When I was in elementary school during recess, some 5th graders threw a rock at the side of my head because I was a 3rd grader on what was apparently 5th grade turf. My ear rang for like 10 or 15 minutes and it hurt so bad. I eventually got my hearing back, but it got worse and worse. It's okay though, kids do stupid things, and I lived.

No my hearing is perfect. Loud music doesn't affect it either thank goodness. I can also do sign language. I learned it in elementary school because my best friend at the time had a sister who was fully deaf and they used sign language with her and since I was over at her house a lot I asked them to teach me it. So soon enough I was talking in sign language with my friend's sister. I learned it a little in school too. But I am forgetting a bit because I have no one to talk to in sign language

My left ear is pretty close to deaf. It has been so, since my birth. I can hear low frequencies alright with it, but no high frequencies at all. I call it my bass ear.

Wow, that sucks. Actions have consequences, sometimes for innocent parties.

One of them got arrested and out in jail two years ago. The other grew up and became nicer.
