Love doesn't exist

Women "love" Men for status, power, money and looks.
Men for the most part go for the looks, in lesser cases similar to Women.

The only true love which is rare can happen between a partent and a child, as it has no "benefitical" reason other than pure feeling. We in reality love a person for the way they are and not trying to change their beliefs or take control over them.


Another love comes by the effect of wisdom when we reach a point of view to see everyone as special and unique.

People crave attention and feel like they deserve to be loved. "I'm so great and amazing, you need to love me." See how selfish that sounds? Real love is selfless.... in the case of most relationships it comes down to craving for attention and affection and nothing more.

Altruism helps you sleep better at night. So I guess thats also self-serving.

I don't think mothers think about the actual concept of continuing genetic legacy. Women get hormones that trigger them for their maternal affections toward their offspring and love. Their love is selfless. Its not really selfish, having an offspring doesn't benefit their individual needs really. They have to sacrifice more to raise another child
