That probably contains errors, for me seeing a lactose intolerant person is like seeing a left-handed person: it surprises me. But it may be a family bias though I doubt it.

East Asians are generally lactose intolerant so it probably has to do with that. As bizarre as it'd be for Mongolians.

That map does not make sense at least for Spain, we all descend from northern (iberian) populations.

I think it is a common thing to see lactose intolerance begin to show up as one is getting aged? I had no problem at all like 5-6 years ago, now a small piece of cheese(not to mention drinking milk) makes me sick the whole day.

drinking milk from ~25 y/o brings me some discomfort, but everything OK with fermented milk products like cheese, yoghurt, kefir e.t.c.
