Half of verses there are from the OT. These laws were there for Jews and Jews only.

Then why the Decalogue is not for Jews only?

Pauline epistle such as Corinthians, Ephesians, Timothy, Titus are attributed to Paul (Saul of Tarsus). Paul dealt mostly with problems of his time and his teachings are not all of universal nature.

Yes his teachings are constantly presented in the church. If they are useless, they can be freely thrown away from the Bible, as well as the Old Testament, which you say, is for Jews.

Paul was speaking to a specific church about the problems with some women speaking out of turn and disrupting the service. He advised them to go home and talk to the husband instead of interrupting (again being the era they lived in that was acceptable to say, that would not happen today).

Everything Paul says about men and women esp. in marriage has to be understood in the context of men loving their wives as Christ loved the church, and the first chapter of Eph. 5 which says “be subject to one another.” This is the starting point.

If you want an earlier starting point it’s the relationship between adam and eve – eve was not subservient, she was an ally (which is what the hebrew word translated ‘helper’ really means) and in the fall, the ‘he will rule over you’ statement is descriptive, NOT prescriptive.

You should interpret the stuff about women being silent in the church as specific to particular situations, not universal – if you look at all the women in Paul’s life, or Timothy’s life, they most certainly were not silent!

Paul a dedicated Jew grappled on this issue but later on attested that .. neither jew or greek, slaves nor free, woman or man… all all one in Christ..such a great teachings and conversion.

Jesus said they are equal to God, not to each other. Christianity teaches women to obey their husband.

Christianity is not a hippie religion (or the opposite, something Islamic-like) as some modernists want to believe.
