It depends. If you stick around the cities in Northern China, a lot of the big ones like Beijing have migrants from many other regions, so they aren't very reflective of the actual genetic stock of that region. But if you go to the country side, where there are the locals who are really of Northern Chinese stock, they are a lot more masculine and robust. It's similar to the contrast between urban liberal White men and Redneck country boys. Among Northern Chinese, it's pretty common to see men who are very tall, way over 6 feet, which is considered rare for many other Mongoloid groups. Also, Northern China is a very huge place.
I agree about Siberians. But Tatars, Kazakhs, etc are considered Central Asians.
