Most of the studies have a native name on them, so I doubt bias is a big factor.

IQ tests are scaled for different ages, so the complexity and expectations are adjusted accordingly. And the age of IQ tests is not an issue as long as the test being administered was a psychometrically sound, reputable version of tests like the WAIS and Stanford-Binet
