Per capita, which country has contributed more to sports globally: New Zealand or Brazil?

This is an interesting question. Despite having only one fiftieth of the population of Brazil, I'd argue that New Zealand's success and promotion of rugby and to a lesser extent cricket are at least equal to Brazil's success and promotion of football, basketball and volleyball.

Brazil and New Zealand are good in different disciplines, it is not possible to compare.

EDIT: On the other hand, many nations are not even interested in rugby and cricket, so I can't say that globally New Zealand contributes anything. In some certain parts, yes. Not globally though.

France's rugby clubs are actually the wealthiest and best supported in the world fyi. Rugby is also important in Italy, Romania and Georgia and is growing elsewhere too.
